Rodd Christensen is an American actor born in Las Vegas. A trained actor, he was engaged in youth work with the charity Scripture Union in Scotland for 11 years[1] before he auditioned for the role of Spencer the painter and musician in the BBC One, Two and CBeebies 2002–05 children's programme Balamory.
Now married with two daughters,[2] Rodd moved from the United States to Scotland in 1992 with a friend and has lived in Fife since then.[1] Rodd is currently employed as a bus driver for Stagecoach Group[3] following his part as a security guard in the 2009 film New Town Killers.
Rodd is a keen photographer.[2] Rodd has recently began driving the 355 bus to Woodmill High School in Dunfermline, Fife. School kids recognise him a lot, all he does his smile and talk.
Rodd Has just finished his new show called talkie time. which will be out soon. the show is a learning show for kids in which Rodd interacts with them.
